In partnership with PRU’s and Alternative Educational Providers, we are dedicated to bringing Mixed Mental Arts to some of the most disadvantaged young people in London.
By arming them with skills and knowledge to support their wellbeing & resilience, we are providing them with novel ways of thinking about how they relate to themselves and those around them to support them on a journey toward a happier and more productive way of being.
We believe there is huge untapped and dormant potential waiting to be activated within parents up and down the country – and harnessing this power will be a major factor in improving mental health in our communities.
That is why we have partnered with Parent ENGage, a collective of 150 parents in South London, to create a parent-led resilience programme. We trained a group of twelve volunteer parents to become resilience trainers and are now supporting them to deliver free workshops for other parents in schools across one of London’s most under-served boroughs.
We believe everyone should have the skills they need to cope with the challenges of life – no matter what their social background or income.
Tough Cookie is providing Mixed Mental Arts training to under-served communities via public events and festivals in some of London’s poorest boroughs.
